16 Candles

Inspired loosely by the 16 Candles movie scene of blowing out candles, this project focuses on pausing long enough to acknowledge where you are before stepping into what’s next.

The styling remains simple and intentional. With soft textures and natural movement, expression took the lead. Each pose explores how it feels to sit with yourself without needing to put on a show.

This project reflected a season of growth as well as a reminder that not every transition has to be dramatic. Some of them happen slowly and in small shifts you can feel before you see them.
