Extension of the Everyday
Extension of the Everyday is a fashion piece inspired by the iconic montage scene from The Devil Wears Prada (2006).
The project explores four looks: MONOCHROME, AVANT-GARDE, SUIT, and MULTI-TEXTURAL. Each played a key role in shaping a visual narrative rooted in transformation and elevation.
Every transition and look was meticulously planned in advance, with additional intention carried out on-site in Downtown Boston during the early days of winter. Through bold colors, strong silhouettes, and layered textures, each look works together to tell a story about growth, discipline, and what it means to push oneself beyond the familiar.
This project stands as one of my favorite works to date.
Working alongside Jonathan Valerio, Angela Kwebiiha, and Joceymyanda Colin, I’m incredibly proud of how thoughtfully each step was executed. Looking ahead, I’m eager to continue exploring fashion, music, and art, and to find more ways for clothing to help tell people’s stories.
