IT-SELF FT. Nia
Nia for It-Self. Her chosen word for project was TRIBE. Centering on identity and community we explored how personal expression can exist alongside a shared experience—without one overpowering the other.
The styling leaned into bold prints and layered textures, allowing each piece to stand on its own reflecting a balance between self-expression and connection.
Throughout the shoot, Nia moved with ease and confidence, grounding the work. The wardrobe supports this resulting in a body of work that feels intimate without being insular.
Nia for It-Self is a study in belonging—not as something granted by others, but as something rooted within. It speaks to identity as layered and evolving while still being shaped by the communities we move through and the experiences we share.
